The Siem Reap International Airport is a 6km, 15 minutes from town center. Taxis and tuk-tuks can be hired at the ticket desk located just outside the terminal doors. Taxis run $7 and tuk-tuks are $5 into town. Most hotels offer free transportation from the airport with advance reservations.

Chong Kov Sou Bus Station
The bus station is located near Phsar Leu a
couple of kilometers west of town center. On arrival, motodups from the
station into town run $1.50-$2 and tuk-tuks for $2-$4. For passengers
departing Siem Reap, most bus companies offer a free shuttle service
from the hotel to the bus station.Several regularly scheduled daily buses to Poempiem, taking only 5 or 6 hours for the trip. Generally speaking, it is easiest to buy tickets through your guesthouse or travel agency. Most buses make one or two stops along the way - at Skun and Kampong Thom for a snack or lunch.

Transportation to and around the Temples
The temples are too far apart to make foot travel practical (though some hearty visitors are hiking it anyway). Transportation options include: two-person motorcycle trailers (‘moto-romauk’) average $10-$13; car taxis $20-$25/day; motorcycle taxi (‘motodup’) for $6-$9/day; bicycles for $2-$3/day. Transportation to the temples is usually hired by the day. Prices go up for distant temples (e.g. Banteay Srey, Phnom Kulen, Kbal Spean, Koh Ker). Bicycling around the temples is becoming more popular. If you have the time to spare, the roads are good and the distances are about right for a bicycle. Your hotel or travel agent can arrange transportation.
i)Cambodia to Thailand:

There are now direct buses between Siem Reap and Bangkok. One ticket, one price, no bus change at the border. The bus makes 2-3 rest stops along the way in addition to the stop at the border. 6-8 hrs. Price: $25-$30, minivan $10. not inclusive of visa fees. Buses leave early, 7AM-9AM.
In Bangkok tickets are available and buses depart from Mochit station. In Siem Reap purchase tickets through a travel agent or your guesthouse, usually includes free pick up from your hotel.
SiemReap to Poipet ( $4 - 2hrs) to Aranyaprathet to Nongkhai
The border is in central Poipet. The border is open 07:00 - 20:00. There is no time difference between Cambodia and Thailand. Next to the Thai immigration facilities is Rongkleu Market, which host banks, cafes, a convenience store, money exchangers and buses.
Got 2 bus station in Aranyaprathet, Rongkleu Market got minivan go BKK(250/300B) and Town station. Town station got inexpensive and govement bus go Mochit, Bangkok. Or other place like Nakon Ratchasima.

the Central Market in Phnom Penh) for 42,000 riel, 7-10 hours.

2) To get to Stung Treng via Kratie: Take a Phnom Penh
Sorya Transport for 21,000 riel, 7 hours. Departs daily at
7:30AM. Then take a share taxi to Stung Treng for 20,000 riel, 2-3
hours.
To get to the border crossing from Stung
Treng, either take a ferry
($5/person, $30 for a private boat, 1 - 3 hours) or the minibus to
the road crossing.

Buses for Udon leave Bangkok's Northern Bus Terminal (Mochit 2 Bus Terminal) from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The journey takes around 10 to 11 hours, 145 baht for regular buses (260 baht for air-conditioned buses).

Udon Thani
Phu Phra Bat Historical Park
The park is 70km northwest of Udon Thani and Nong Khai, near the small town of Ban Pheu, and can be visited as a long day trip from either city. From Udon’s Rungsina Market it’s a 40B, 1½-hour bus ride; it’s 35B and two hours from Nong Khai. From Ban Pheu take a sǎwngthǎew (8B) to Ban Tiu, the village at the base of the hill, and then a motorcycle taxi or túk-túk the final 4km to the park itself. If you’re using public transport, you should plan on leaving the park by 3.30pm.

Wat Phu Thok
Phu Tok is located at the extreme northeastern corner of Thailand. It is 140 km east of the city of Nong Khai and known commonly as the lonely mountain. It is an impressive sandstone peak that stands over the surrounding plain. Buddhist monks come from all over the region to meditate here.
There are seven levels of hiking on the peak that represent the seven factors of enlightenment in Buddhist psychology. The mountain has two summits with one that is open to the public.
The arduous work of building the stairway, was seen by the venerable monk as a form of meditation in itself. The creation of each level, a further personal step towards nirvana beyond.
There are in fact only six wooden stages. For the seventh level is the very top of the outcrop... up a rocky scramble, which like Buddhism itself, one must complete alone.
How to get there:
To get there Phu Thok is around 185 km. from the town of Nong Khai. Take Highway 212, past Pho Chai, Pak Khat and Bueng Kan districts. Then, turn left to take Highway 222 and head for Si Wilai district. From Si Wilai, take a left turn and go on for another 30 km., past Ban Na Sing, Ban Sai Ngam, to Ban Na Kham Khaen and Phu Thok.

Buses use three different stations in Vientiane, all with some English-speaking staff. The Northern Bus Station, about 2km northwest of the centre, serves all points north of Vang Vieng, including China, and has some buses to Vietnam.
The Talat Sao Bus Station (216507) is where desperately slow local buses depart for destinations within Vientiane Province, including Vang Vieng, and some more distant destinations, though for these you’re better going to the northern or southern stations. It’s also home to the Thai-Lao International Bus .

我的选择是自己租电单车到达。在龙坡邦租借电单车是很贵的。
光西瀑布的水量、落差都不是很大，属于比较温婉秀美的那种。水很清，非常漂亮的蓝绿色，整个景区很有休闲气氛。老挝的山水都这样，不绝美，那是给人一种空谷幽兰的静谧感。
周边有很多长条的木质桌椅，有游客在这里铺上格子桌布野餐，很惬意的感觉。也可以上山一探瀑布的源头，面朝瀑布右手边的路是按自然的山石修葺出来的，上还行，下就有点难了，左边的路是人工的台阶，很好走，所以右上左下会比较方便些。一路往下，大大小小的水池如大珠小珠般散落在景区中，水一律是清澈漂亮的蓝绿色。不过上两层的水池都不能下水，只能赏看。最下层的水池就是可以游泳和秋千跳水的区域了，一派生机勃勃的景象。秋千跳水就是在一棵伸出水面的粗壮的树枝上系一根粗麻绳，抓着绳子荡到空中再撒手跳到水中
★That Phu Si 拥有悠久的历史，建于1804年，1914年翻新。
它坐落在龙邦坡的24米高山顶上，在龙邦坡行走,可以看到山上金光闪闪的塔，是龙邦坡的特象之一。
从庙里可以看见正片龙邦坡的市景，还有湄公河。山上绝对是摄影爱好者必到之处。

From Laos Straight Time: From December 2013, The new Chiang Rai-Chaing Khong-Bokeo bus route crosses the 4th Mekong Bridge connecting Chiang Rai and Huay Xai in Bokeo province in Laos
The bus route ends at the Bokeo bus station. distance of 166 km(4 hours) between Chiang Rai and Bokeo. The service starts at Chiang Rai’s second terminal which is on the main highway 1 about 5 km from the town centre and end at Bokeo bus station.
The one-way fare from Chaing Rai to Bokeo is Bt220 (55,000 Kip) and from Chiang Khong to Bokeo Bt30 (7,500 Kip).

Wat Rong Khun is situated at the entrance to Khun Kon waterfall, 12 km to Muang County of Chiang Rai Province. The temple has been designed and constructed by a famous Thai artist named Chaloemchai Khositphiphat. The construction of this contemporary temple is the artist’s lifework. Even though the temple has not been finished, its striking architecture has attracted many tourists who would like to see the great Buddhist arts. The ubosot of this temple is in pure white and adorned with exquisite traditional Thai style stuccowork, aiming to represent heaven.

From Qyer:清莱车站有两个候车点，1号候车点（terminal1），2号（terminal2），一定一定要看清楚自己票上注明是是几号候车点，两个相差好几公里呢！（其实呢，同一辆大巴是在1号、2号先后停靠上客的。）

清迈去往PAI县，可以打车到清迈长途汽车站，20元左右。清迈长途汽车站的售票窗口，每天有很多班车去往Pai。大多数都是选择mini巴士，因为马上可以发车，比较快。车票150泰铢。Pai县落车点在aya车站，在中心城区，也是最大的租摩托车点。
拜县是非常自然的田园风光，没有非常特别景点，主要景点主要有南湖村、二战桥、大峡谷、温泉、大象营地。除了骑大象做马沙基。在拜县最惬意的事，莫过于租一辆小摩托，四处漫游，享受这世上最宝贵最舒心的快乐和自由。这样的快乐和自由，永远只属于在看风景的路上。

峡谷位于拜县至清迈的公路上，距离拜县8公里，可以沿土路，爬到顶处浏览。往深处走就可以到瀑布了。

PAI最具有标志性的景点，最浪漫之地，也是每个来PAI的游客必来朝圣的地方。黄色的小洋楼，白红相间的咖啡屋，大红的邮筒，唯美的花架，清新的鲜花，这里便是让人留恋忘返。除了可以在外拍照，还可以在咖啡屋的入口处自助盖章。门口摆放着Coffee in Love自己的明信片和几个不同的图章，供游客盖章留念。当然，你可以不买明信片，在自己的东西上免费盖章留念。小白屋也是Coffee in Love的一景。

如果从素可泰过来，巴士是不会进到大城市中心, 会在类似公路旁放你下(很多泰国人也会在那边下车或上车, 有一个小小的候车亭), 下车之后可以过天桥到对面的Robinson 购物中心等双条车, 到大城火车站一人 THB.7....(30min) 下火车站后直走,就可以到渡船头过河到古迹区。下渡船头就可以租脚踏车,有附地图,可自己骑脚踏车到处玩(rate: 30bath per day)

3.BTS到胜利纪念碑旁搭九人小巴(Van),车资每人60B, Victory Monument站，2號出口下來的Century The Movie Plaza旁有許多小巴公司。Around 1 hr，如果坐小巴，记住一定不要到城门处下车，一定要到它的终点小巴站再下车，那边饭店，旅店，租车店还有7-11什么都有，方便的多。
★Wat Mahathat (树包佛头）！！
Wat Mahatat is most photographed for the iconic Buddha face in the tree roots. One theory is that this is one of the Buddha heads the Burmese cut off that landed in this spot and the tree just grew around it. Thai people consider this Buddha image sacred and require you to sit or kneel if you want to take a picture with it.
PS：拍照时注意要低于佛头的位置不然会被认为不顾尊敬。旁边有人看守的，会提醒你。
